TOP DOWN TOURS for hikes and hiking in the Kootenays

 Tracy and Rod have been hiking together for 36 years, 32 of those in the West Kootenays.
Rod is a teacher who majored in Geography and Geology. Tracy is a "Jill of all trades", now semi-retired. They have followed paths that led them to living on a gold claim in the Coast Range, then building a log home in Argenta, where they worked in forest related industries.Since moving to Kaslo in 1988, Rod has taught Grade 6/7, and Tracy ran an in home daycare.
Rod and Tracy's passion for mountains, the wild spaces, and the history of these regions, has been passed along to their two grown-up daughters. They love to share their special places with others. |
